Fujifilm FinePix HS50EXR is a super-zoom bridge camera equipped with a new 42x (24-1000mm equivalent) manual zoom lens. It features a 16MP 1/2-inch EXR CMOS II sensor with phase detection pixels that achieves the world's fastest AF speed in its class of just 0.05 second. Other highlights include 11fps continuous shooting, 1920x1080/60p video and 920K-dot high resolution EVF.

The HS50EXR sport a newly developed Fujinon optical 42x (24 - 1,000mm) manual barrel zoom lens, it offers focal lengths which would require several different lenses on a DSLR. Users can capture everything from beautiful wide angle landscape shots to sharp telephoto pictures with this powerful zoom lens. The Lens shift Optical Image Stabilization ensures that even hand-held shots are free from blur.

HS50EX equipped with a new 16-megapixel EXR CMOS II sensor with built-in Phase Detection pixel to achieve an incredibly fast autofocus speed of just 0.05 seconds in fastest conditions, along with a new Intelligent Hybrid Autofocus system that automatically selects between phase detection autofocus or contrast autofocus in low light to ensure the optimal focus system is used for sharp, vibrant images.

Combined with the new EXR Processor II make the HS50EXR a truly powerful camera when it comes to capturing moving objects. In addition to the incredible AF speed, it also achieves a start-up time of 0.5 seconds, and interval time between shots of just 0.5 seconds, and 11fps burst shooting at the full 16MP resolution. You will never miss that crucial shot, no matter how fast your subject is moving.

The new Focus Peaking feature in manual focus mode to help photographers by highlighting high contrast areas of a subject and provides a guide for focusing in situations where it is difficult to tell whether the subject is correctly focused, allowing users to manually focus whilst viewing on the LCD screen.

Press the HS50EXR camera's dedicated Movie button to start recording 1920x1080/60p full-HD video with stereo sound instantly. The Phase Detection pixel technology and scene recognition modes also work while recording movies to ensure that your video stays sharply focused on the subject.

The HS50EXR incorporates a 920k dot, high-resolution electronic viewfinder that is perfect for helping users frame a subject, even in bright sunlight. And for challenging low or high angle shots, you can switch to the very useful 3.0-inch variable-angle 920k dot LCD monitor that folds out and flips around so you can see what you are taking – no matter what the angle you’re trying to shoot at.

HS50EXR features FUJIFILM's proprietary Film Simulation modes. Users can choose from 10 different modes which simulate the effects of traditional FUJIFILM films. Including the natural tones of PROVIA, the distinctive saturation and vibrant colors of Velvia, or the smooth tonality and skin tones of ASTIA. Black & White and Sepia modes can also be selected.

The HS50EXR also features the Advanced Filter functions, users can choose from 8 different artistic filters which can be previewed on the LCD screen to ensure you get exactly the results you're shooting for.
