Nikon COOLPIX A is a high-end compact camera features a large 16MP DX-format CMOS sensor and a superb optical quality NIKKOR 28mm/f2.8 fixed lens, offing ultimate image quality of a DSLR and superior low-light performance. This palm-sized COOLPIX A employs a 16.2-megapixel APS-sized Nikon DX-format CMOS sensor without an optical low-pass filter, achieves consistently high levels of sharpness and image quality. The ISO sensitivity range of 100 to 6400, which can be set to ISO 25600. Combined with the high-performance EXPEED 2 image processing engine, the COOLPIX A delivers high resolution and high definition D-SLR quality photos even in low light.
